Currently in the process of becoming a Dual Stream Certifying doula through Doula Canada, based in Central Okanagan. Once certification is completed, my focus will be on providing exceptional prenatal and postpartum doula services to families in this beautiful region we call home.
About Me.
Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Rebecca, but my friends call me Becca. As a wife to my loving husband Hunter and a proud mother of two incredible kids, my life is filled with love and joy. Madison, our spirited 16-year-old, has an unwavering determination, a kind heart, and the drive to conquer the world. Alyssa, our 12-year-old, embodies bravery, compassion, and brilliance.
From a young age, I've had a natural affinity for babies, often being called a "baby whisperer" due to our special connection. When I became a mother myself, my life took on new meaning, and the journey has been more beautiful and fulfilling than I could have ever imagined.
My own birthing experience wasn't ideal, and the care I received left me yearning for a more positive and supportive environment. However, it ignited a fascination with the birthing and postpartum journey, leading me to discover my calling as a Doula.
For the past 12+ years, I've been devoted to caring for children in my home daycare, cherishing every moment spent with them. This allowed me to be there for my own children, homeschooling them, and building lasting memories together. Now that they are both attending school, I've decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my dream of becoming a Doula.
With a heart full of compassion and a wealth of experience, I am eager to embark on this new chapter in my life, offering unwavering support and guidance to expectant parents during their birthing journey. It is my belief that every family deserves a positive and empowering birth experience, and I am dedicated to making that a reality.
